Saffron value chain development plan with the presence of the honorable president

The ceremony of operation and opening of the contract-based agricultural plan in the first innovation factory of the saffron value chain and the unveiling of three plans of the World Saffron Production and Export Management Organization (OSEC) were carried out in the presence of the then president, Hassan Rouhani, at Mostafavi's saffron complex.
In this important and national ceremony, three key plans of the World Saffron Production and Export Management Organization (OSEC) were also unveiled. These innovative plans are a turning point in the development of Iran's saffron industry because they provide direct and indirect job opportunities for more than 263 thousand people by creating employment and sustainable development in various fields of agriculture, industry, mining, natural resources, tourism and ecotourism.

Among the important projects inaugurated are the saffron value chain development plan in North Khorasan, Razavi and South provinces, the collaborative salmon breeding complex in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad provinces, the tourism and handicrafts development plan in North Khorasan province, and the agricultural production plan in Kermanshah province.

Also, the plans for a small lime greenhouse in Mazandaran province and the technical and specialized services plan for veterinary and herbal medicine, the nature and ecotourism plan, the sports services plan, the home business plan, the livestock and poultry breeding plan, the conversion and greenhouse industries plan, the handwoven carpet plan and wooden artifacts were among the other successful programs used in this national ceremony.

These projects not only lead to economic development, but also improve the quality of life of villagers and activists in the fields of agriculture and handicrafts, and play an important role in supporting national production and developing non-oil exports. The presence of the then president in this ceremony shows the impact of the plans in the macro policies of the country and the government's commitment to job creation, sustainable development and support for Iran's agricultural and export industries.
