Opening of the first saffron counter office in Torbat Heydarieh

The opening of the country's first saffron counter office in Torbet Heydarieh city, with the presence of a group of high-ranking officials, including Mr. Dr. Zanganeh, the honorable representative of the noble people of Torbet Heydarieh, as well as Mr. Mah Valat and Zaweh in the Islamic Council, along with Mr. Hossein Sharafatirad, the honorable governor of Torbet Heydarieh, and a group of managers and activists of the saffron field, was held on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the location of the first innovation factory of the saffron value chain.

The goals of opening a saffron counter office, as the first center for aggregating specialized saffron services in Iran, including agreed purchase of saffron,Buy saffroncash, saffron trust fund, loan payment with saffron endorsement in cooperation with operating banks, depositing saffron in the commodity exchange and providing support services to farmers, which ultimately ends up aggregating all the services that can be provided to the beneficiaries of the saffron ecosystem in the saffron-rich areas of the country; And it is an important step in the direction of supporting farmers and activists in the saffron field and improving the processes of saffron production and sale.

One of the highlights of this ceremony was visiting different parts of the saffron value chain innovation factory, such as the hall and warehouses of the saffron exchange, the saffron museum, the saffron library, the farmers' training center, etc. Mr. Dr. Zanganeh, the honorable representative of the Sharif people of Torbat Heydarieh, Meh Valat, and Zaveh, said in the meeting of this ceremony: The Islamic Council is ready for the gathering of saffron-growing countries in order to implement the plan of the international organization OSEC; And through the mechanisms of this field, the initial document of this work should be made before other countries copy this plan from Iran; prepare and we must operationalize this chain and witness its output.

Honorable representative of Torbat Heydarieh, referring to the introduction of the saffron cooperative launch plan in the Islamic Council, stated: All producers should feel that OSEC is a national plan with common interests for all saffron field activists and this should be the place of convergence between saffron producers. In the end, he added: From April, we should move towards selling the farmer's product (before he produces it) so as not to witness the loss of farmers and producers. We hope to have a meeting of the ambassadors of saffron-growing countries in the parliament by June; And after this meeting, let's witness the brilliant results of this international idea.
