The visit of the secretary of the Iranian Medicinal Plants Association to Mostafavi's saffron collection

In this regard, a specialized meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Jafar Mirfokharai, Secretary of the Iranian Medicinal Plants Association and a group of members of the board of directors of Mostafavi Saffron Company. During this specialized meeting, the secretary of the Medicinal Plants Association, referring to Iran's exceptional capacity in the field of medicinal plants, stated: Considering that we have 13 regions of medicinal plants in the world, of which there are 11 types in Iran; Therefore, Iran is the richest country in the world in terms of medicinal plants.

Also, he pointed out: among medicinal plants, saffron has a special place and its unique properties have been proven all over the world. Currently, saffron extract is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and antidepressant. Although the development of chemical knowledge and the discovery of complex solutions based on organic synthesis have played an important role in the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the replacement of new treatment solutions based on the prescription of chemical drugs and have been able to cure many deadly diseases; But after years, this strong competitor has not been able to remove the medicinal plants and the medicines prepared from them from the field of competition.

At the end of this meeting, Seyed Ehsan Mostafavinejad, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mostafavi Saffron Company, appreciated the presence of Dr. Mirfakhraei and said: Mostafavi Saffron Company can set a golden leaf in Iran's medicinal plant industry with the support of young, expert and creative forces.
