Appreciation of Saffron Mostafavi from the Agricultural Jihad Organization

In this meeting, the head of Khorasan Razavi Jihad Keshavarzi Organization, Mojtaba Mazrouei, stated that saffron is one of the unique products of the province; And it has the largest share of the province's exports, for this reason, we are indebted to the merchants who had an active and fruitful presence in Iran's saffron exports.
Also, he added: the total income of the agricultural sector of Razavi Khorasan, including horticultural, agricultural and livestock products, is 106,500 billion rials last year alone, of which more than 10,000 billion rials is the income from the sale and export of saffron; Therefore, saffron is considered an important product of Razavi Khorasan, which, in addition to economic, income and job creation benefits, requires little water for cultivation; And considering the water shortage crisis in the province, it is more important than ever. More than 190 tons of saffron were produced in Razavi Khorasan in 2014, 75% of which are exported abroad and 25% are distributed for domestic consumption.

In the continuation of this meeting, Hojjat-ul-Islam and Al-Muslimeen Hashemi Gonabadi, the head of the field of representation of the religious jurist in the Agricultural Jihad organization, while celebrating the anniversary of the establishment of Jihad for Construction, he said about the irreplaceable role of Imam Khomeini (RA) in the establishment of Jihad for Construction: Building a structure for the system was one of the initiatives of Imam Khomeini (RA) in 1958, which was the formation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Revolutionary Courts, the Literacy Movement, and the Relief and Jihad Committee. Construction is one of them. In order to meet the livelihood and economic needs of the people, he ordered the formation of Jihad Sazandagi, which included religious and educated youths, whose leadership and deep belief in the people, based on their religious beliefs, were among their characteristics.
